This course will lead students into the exciting and ever-changing world of fashion. Students will gain knowledge of marketing as it relates to the fashion industry and the product development process. From retail establishments to e-commerce and social media marketing, students will explore trends, technology, branding, visual merchandising, the nature and history of fashion and fashion designers, and the global impact of the fashion industry on the economy. Contextual instruction and student participation in co-curricular career and technical student organization (CTSO) activities will develop leadership, interpersonal, and career skills. High-quality work-based learning (HQWBL) will provide experiential learning opportunities related to students' career goals and/or interests, integrated with instruction, and performed in partnership with local businesses and organizations.

Course Sequences
