For the Record
CTE Resource Center records show that in the past 39 years, since 1982-1983, the Center has
- distributed more than five million curriculum documents
- conducted more than 2,300 searches for patron-requested information
- developed more than 3,350 curriculum products
- facilitated or presented to more than 2,580 groups, addressing more than 49,250 educators and business/industry representatives.
Reach
The Center connects with teachers, administrators, and others through social media (Twitter and Facebook) and quarterly emails that describe ongoing activity.
Distribution
The Center continued to distribute curriculum frameworks, resources, and student credential information via PDF.
In-service Programs
In 2020-2021, the Center facilitated 31 virtual meetings of business/industry experts and CTE teachers to create or update rigorous, relevant curriculum frameworks. Approximately 270 people attended the meetings.
Meeting Facilities Use
The Center hosted no meetings in 2020-2021, due to the COVID pandemic.
Curriculum Development
From July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, the Center completed 57 products in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE).
