The Smart Automation Certification Alliance operates on a membership basis. Once a school is a member, they can offer unlimited, free certifications to individuals enrolled as students of the member institution; high school membership is $500 annually.

SACA's C-103 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate-Robot System Operations certification prepares individuals to succeed in operations positions in modern production environments that use industrial robot systems and Industry 4.0 automation technologies. This certification is also ideal for maintenance technicians and IT professionals seeking to become versed in robot system operations. Many certifications are available today that address isolated competencies, from machining to maintenance and IT, but SACA certifications are different. They certify “connected systems” skills that address the integration of these technologies with Industry 4.0 technology.
