- Test Specifics:
Each section contains 25 multiple-choice questions. A technician must achieve a minimum passing score of 70% on each test section in which they are to be certified. For example, a technician seeking Universal certification must achieve a minimum score of 70%, or 18 out of 25 correct, on each section of the test. A technician must achieve a passing score on the Core section plus a type to receive any certification.
- Additional information:
Pass Core plus Type 2 to earn the EPA Type 2 Technician Credential. All four tests must be taken and passed to earn the Universal EPA Section 608 Certification. It is one test comprised of multiple sections (Core, Type I, Type II, Type III).
