Installation should include
- removing the old pump, according to manufacturer guidelines
- determining reusability or the cause of failure
- flushing the hydraulic system, if necessary
- installing the new pump and mounting seals
- filling the pump with the oil
- reconnecting the pressure line
- cycling the hydraulics slowly to purge air from the system.
