Outdoor Power Equipment Accreditation by EETC

The Equipment and Engine Training Council (EETC) is a non-profit professional organization that promotes and supports the education and training of service technicians in outdoor power equipment, agriculture, commercial, and heavy equipment technology. EETC has articulated five levels of OPE Accreditation. Virginia's Small Engine Technology course corresponds to Level 1: Two and Four-Stroke Gas Engines. More information can be found at the EETC website: http://www.eetc.org.

Small Engine Technology may also help prepare students for the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute's (NOCTI) Air-Cooled Gas Engine Assessment (2068). For more information, please visit NOCTI's Web site at http://www.nocti.org.
