Prerequisites:Horticulture Sciences (8034/36 weeks)

This course offers an expanded study of floral design, which was begun in the Horticulture Sciences course. Course content covers career opportunities, floral design foundations, design applications, and the marketing of floral products. Specific design styles to be examined include mass, line-mass, line, vase, wedding, balloon, holiday, and personal-adornment arrangements. Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAE) and FFA are required components of a total Agricultural Education program and provide students with opportunities for experiential and work-based learning.
